Great production, killer guitar playing, this one man band is really on the money. The music gets your attention and never lets up. Surprisingly intense, well crafted songs, infectious riffs pervade. I wish there was there was more information in the bio, it only stated that Mayo plays everything and that this was begun in 2011.
“Angel Voodoo” is an instrumental that is in your face from the get go, pumping out the rhythms hypnotically and effectively transporting you elsewhere.
I really liked “Pacify”, and ”Glory”, as well as the instrumental cover of the Beatles’ “ Glass Onion”. They entire album concept and design were all done my MAYO. A one-man act indeed.
Now the interesting thing is that MAYO performs live. Not sure if that means he has a backing band for live work, or uses other means, but in any case it would be fun to see, and I strongly suggest getting this music. - Evor.com

Bio
Teston /tes-tuh n/ is an electronic and acoustic band. As its main producer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and singer Teston is the only official member and remains solely responsible for its direction. Teston’s music straddles a wide range of genres, such as rock, electronica, blues, and acoustic instrumental. Teston performs live as a one man band playing guitar and singing with playback of additional instruments and sounds as he sees fit for his creative vision.I try to bring the best elements of many genres together. For example the sounds of electronic music with hints of blues, rock, acoustic, and even jazz. I always try to keep the music centered around the guitar as that is one of my favorite instruments.
I have been asked many times to describe my music and I must confess that the more I get asked this question the harder it is for me to answer. The reason for that is, because I cross and mix genres frequently; therefore, I can’t pinpoint one main sound or theme.
I find that life brings many emotions, moods, and experiences, which I tap into to compose. Human behavior, world events, but also experiences with family, friends, and strangers influence my creativity and that’s what I’m trying to translate into my music. I look for inspiration together with improvisation. If I have a particular emotion I like or would like to express in music, I try to picture it and then bring it alive with my songs.
