"My mother had a gift shop and a guy walked in with this 1951 Martin guitar, and he wanted to barter. She thought, ok, so she got this guitar in return and brought it home to me, and just kind of handed it to me and said, 'Here, I think you ought to learn how to play this.' - Lubbock Avalanche Journal

Bio
There is an incredible musical force and chemistry between the players on stage. We LOVE to play! We forge through original tunes that sound as sweet as "Georgia" cover blues to rocking "She Don't Care - Loretta's Song" original. Tennessee's greatest influences are Bonnie Raitt/John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Stevie Nicks and Ryan Adams. Tennessee's 3rd cd release came out just days before her son's new acclaimed band "Blind Melon" cd "For My Friends" was released. The Tennessee Tuckness Band opened for Blind Melon at the evermore House of Blues in Dallas with great response.
