Bio
Teigan McKnight is a pop vocalist and writer based out of
Toronto. She got her start at age 6 performing on stage at the Tillsonburg
County Fair. Drawn to the thrill of
performance and raw human connection created through purposeful lyrics, Teigan
chased her music dreams into the bright lights of Toronto.
Teigan delivers cathartic, full-bodied, evocative pop. She strives to defy
gravity in the form of liberating anthems and powerful pop ballads. In the
words of Darryl James of The Strumbellas, ‘Teigan’s work ethic and creativity
are undeniable! She writes songs with meaningful lyrics, top notch melodies,
and has a voice we all wish we had!’
In 2018, the up-and-comer was recognized as a Top 100 artist in the CBC Searchlight nationwide competition, featuring over 2,400 artists. After captivating performances at notable venues across Toronto including Horseshoe Tavern, The Cameron House, and The Opera House, she immersed herself into her writing. Teigan has confidently emerged, driving forward as an authentic artist in the pop music industry. Teigan is actively at work on her self-titled, debut EP.
