Tatiana Lima is an award winning Singer/Songwriter from Rutherford New York!
While she is won more music awards than we knew existed, some of her most notable awards include the John Lennon Music Scholarship, Peter Yarrow’s Best Anti-Bullying Song Competition, and One of her original songs was submitted to American Idol for the Finale Song (of the Finale Season) and made the top 20 out of 25000 entries.
Her music ranges from rock to pop while fusing classical and folk influences but we have heard her play blues and soulful pop.
Tatiana was born on August 31st to parents Luiz and Christina Lima. Her father, Luiz, is a native of Brazil who immigrated to the United States in his early 20s. Her mother, Christina, is a first generation American of Ukrainian descent. Tatiana’s parents have a love for their respective heritages and more importantly, they have pride and love for America. They encourage hard work and decency toward others. Through them, Tatiana has been exposed to many customs, lifestyles, cultures, diversity and music.

The South Mountain International Blues Festival is back in West Orange, NJ for the 7th Year with a 2016 "Best of the Fest" — Volume II lineup. The festival is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 11, from 11:45 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 9 Cherry Lane in Essex County's South Mountain Reservation. "At New York Presbyterian Hospital, they have performers (including Natasha Bedingfeild and Avril Lavigne) come monthly to play for the sick children patients. A few years ago, I was really sick. When I was in the hospital I told myself that when I get better I would come here and perform for the patients. After New York Presbyterian Hospital helped me get better, I started performing there. During February 2015, I was voted Most Popular Performer. I really love giving back to people in need! Another proud moment was when I was introduced to my producer, Hanan Rubinstein. He’s a great guy and has worked with the best in the business (including Alicia Keys, Rita Ora, J.Cole, Lenny Kravitz, and even the theme song to The Netflix Original: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). I love working with him! And my EP that he’s producing will be out in 2017! I’m super excited for it!
My last proud moment was when I got a phone call that one of my original songs, Need You Tonight, was submitted to American Idol for the Finale Song (of the Finale Season) and made the top 20 out of 25,000 entries. Tatiana Lima is a singer/songwriter. Her music ranges from rock to pop while fusing classical and folk influences. She has performed at numerous venues and events, including the Hoboken International Film Festival, Brazilian Day in Newark, and as a featured artist on Telemundo TV: Las Comadres con Gloria B. Five of her original songs have been featured in the independent film,The Three Chris'. Tatiana Lima was voted Most Popular Performer at NY Presbyterian- Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, a video reel will be playing all of her performances on the NY Presbyterian Performers Wall (performances including Grammy nominated pop stars Avril Lavigne and Natasha Bedingfield). One of her original songs was submitted to American Idol for the Finale Song (of the Finale Season) and made the top 20 out of 25000 entries. Her original song, Need You Tonight, was in the category of duets for the Finale Season of American Idol. She is currently working with Producer, Hanan Rubinstein (Birdie Studios, Alicia Keys, and Rita Ora) on an EP which is coming out in 2017.
