Szilva and her band are creating a buzz with shows all over Los Angeles and will soon be spreading their wings to a stage near you!

Szilva was recently interviewed on local and international television to promote her recently released single “Rezistance”. (Airing dates and details TBA)

Szilva co-wrote and co-produced "Rezistance" with multi-platinum award winner Chris Landon. The song was mixed by multi-grammy award winning mixer, Chris Lord-Alge.

BIOGRAPHY

Szilva is a female recording artist, songwriter & music producer from Melbourne, Australia. She is a first generation Australian native with Hungarian family heritage.

Szilva was set on her music career aspirations from an early age when she quickly discovered her natural vocal talent and began writing her own songs and lyrics.

After performing live shows throughout Melbourne including the world famous “Crown Casino”, Szilva experienced her first taste of National radio airplay on FOX FM.

Szilva was selected as a winner of the 'Nescafe Big Break,’ A nationwide competition that thousands of talented young Australians compete in annually.

Hungry to move forward, Szilva branched off into a solo career, and taught herself music production through a vigorous course of trial and error. Szilva wrote, produced and recorded her first solo album in her own home studio in Melbourne.

Szilva then took a leap across the oceans to Los Angeles to persue her career in music and promote her new record. While abroad, Szilva’s music video for "Own Little World” was broadcasted throughout Australia and New Zealand on National television. Soon after planting her feet in California, Szilva won the Los Angeles Semi Finals of the Emergenza Music Festival.

Szilva has been creating music in the studio with multi-platinum award winning writer/producer Chris Landon. Together they have created a library of songs and have formed the music production company, “222 music,” writing songs of all genres and licensing them to artists, movies, and commercials. Several of their songs have been licensed to videos on Rollingstone.com and Usmagazine.com

One of their ballads “Till We Meet Again” climbed to number 4 for the weekly Top 20 on Sweden's SongBox.

Szilva has always been influenced by revolutionary artists, singers, and bands that have stepped outside the box and branded a new path into the world of music. Artists of this caliber include the likes of Trent Reznor, Evanescence, Sully Erna, Linkin Park, Alterbridge, Shinedown and Rage Against the Machine.

As Szilva puts it, “I think it’s so beautiful to see how music cycles and reinvents itself over time. As an artist, it is my intention to open doors and think outside the box to create my own path in the evolving music industry today.”
