"Summer Swinging At The Beach With Swing That Cat"

" This is a tight, hot, disciplined band that can jump. But the show belongs to the charming and happy Michele Peraino. She is larger than life as she commands unwavering attention from the crowd. Like the best performers, by the end of the set one feels they just shared a moment with her and know her personally. I think that is the greatest praise one can heap on an entertainer." - That Mag

"Cherry Poppin' Daddies/ Swing That Cat!"

The evening started with swing band, Swing That Cat!, who hail from Southern NJ. This 9 piece band featured a bright brass section, standup bass and drums providing rhythm, a guitar, and a dynamic flautist. This musical ensemble provided a solid base to highlight the band's lead and backup vocalists. Their 7 song set list consisted of a few original as well as classic covers from the '40s and '50s. Lead vocalist, Michele Peraino, with her rich alto voice, belted out tunes of days past reminiscent of the bygone era of the 1940's, bringing to mind the intoxicating days when The War was over and the boys were coming home. - Johnny Hall, Concert Live Wire.com

Swing That Cat is a sonic Cocktail of Jump Jive and Wail ~

Take Jump Blues, swizzle with Horny Swing, add a dash of Cabaret and a splash of Bourbon Street. This female-led band blends a revival of styles with a seductive rhythm, and rumble guaranteed to make you shimmy, shake, and leap off your seat to dance your tail off!

Born in Philly, Swing That Cat pounced on the local club scene and has earned their stripes at more than 400 shows from NYC to DC, and on radio, podcasts, and streams around the world.  Front and center is Michele Peraino, a modern-day Rita Hayworth meets Catwoman, with a vocal style drawn from another era, and a visage of hypnotic rhythms while surrounded by a bunch of crazy cats that all howl, “Yo Philly” with horns, guitar, bass and drums.

Swing That Cat released their first album, “3 to Get Ready. 4 To Go” in 2017 and a new album, "LEAP!" to be released in the Winter 2025 timeframe. Locally, Swing That Cat  has performed for the City of Philadelphia 4th of July, Musikfest, The Sellersville Theater, Ladybug Festival, and over 200 venues, municipal concerts and festivals throughout the Tri-state area.   Swing That Cat  has also been showcased on WXPN, WMMR, WRTI, and WSTW, cementing their appeal across the Philly music scene,
