Various influences from AC/DC to Rick James have given Swedish Teens the versatility to share the stage with the likes of the classic rock force Supagroup, the punk rock thrill ride of Riverboat Gamblers, thrash metal-punk leaders Valient Thorr, metal monsters Dixie Witch, power pop mogul The Marked Men and hip hop sensation Astronautalis.
In 2003, the track "Jana Cova" earned Swedish Teens the support of AVN award winning actress/model Jana Cova. Jana has modeled the band's t-shirts on the cover of 2004's demo EP "Unsupervised" and 2008's LP "Let's Get Rad!".
Also in 2008, Sweidsh Teens were selected by Lawless Records to cover "Tonight We Fight" for "Ruling the World From the Back Seat: A Tribute to Unnatural Axe". Other notables on the compilation are The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Queers, Mission of Burma, Jerry's Kids and Dim Stars (Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth / Richard Hell of Richard Hell & The Voidoids).
2009 was a bit more quiet for Swedish Teens. Among other successful gigs, after supporting The Riverboat Gamblers at NX35 to a packed house, Klas Josephson took much of the lucrative earnings from 2008's "Let's Get Rad!" and opened the Swedish Teens Leisure Centre in Taco Town. Locals speculate that Klas' leisure centre is nothing more than a "sex farm", but membership is clandestine and private. Nevertheless, Josephson and Swedish Teens spent parts of 2009 and 2010 supporting with Off With Their Heads (Epitaph Records) and headlining 2010's "Beanstock" in Denton, Texas, with XCW Professional Wrestling.
2011 promises to bring more high energy hijinks with an upcoming EP full of hits like "Creepy Activities", "No Talk, All Action", "Street Survival", "Eat The Meat" and "Did She Touch It?". Klas has also come up with a Swedish Teens holiday jam "I Don't Wanna Ruin Christmas". Come party with Swedish Teens! Let's get rad!!
Swedish Teens GET RAD!!! "Getting rad" is a term which encompasses anything to do with entertainment, celebration, enjoyment, relaxation, leisure...Have a good time, all the time!!!
