Growing up right outside New Orleans Swampnoise found after Katrina destroyed most structures they were forced to practice outside on a bayou they called "The Swamp". Neighbors would come over asking "what was all the noise" and Swampnoise was born. They are a soulful/funk/rock band that brings together many styles to create their unique sound. The New Orleans music scene has made a serious funky impact on Swampnoise's songwriting.The goal is to keep gigging and writing songs to record in a major studio and major release!
They are Headlining shows at clubs & colleges all over the south and opening for national touring groups in concerts and music festivals.
Some of the groups Swampnoise have and will supply music support are: Neville Brothers, Dumpstaphunk, Train, Shinedown, Rehab, Sic Puppies, Steve Miller Band, Blues Traveler, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Cougar, Jimmy Hall, Louisiana's LeRoux, Steve Cropper, Perpetual Groove, BoomBox, A. Sauce, Juke Joint Duo, Filter, Papa Gros Funk, & Yellowman.
