The Sun Travellers formed in 2006 by multi-national members based in Amsterdam, Holland, where they met while building their Music Technology curriculum at SAE.
"The band were formed by two Italians, a Swede and a Scot... there's a joke in there somewhere...
The sound is distinctly retro but with more modern undercurrents. There is heavy use of guitar effects, unsurprising when one considers the background of the band. The music is not highbrow though. It is I suppose classic rock with an edge." - Chris Doe - Harmonic Lizard
Connecting the visions of Sun Travellers with a soundtrack is almost immediate. Their songs often follow unusual structures, with extended instrumental parts and cinematic effects, textures of bluesy guitar, gently piercing lap steel, and spinning organs.
