Bio
Michael, Jeff, and Christopher joined together as a band in 2003 and added Julie to the band in 2004. Summer Circus (formerly Everlee) began writing and recording the summer before the four left for college. Being separated by distance, they were forced to adapt. They continued writing and recording, collaborating by means of email when they were apart. They could only play together when at home over breaks from school. However, over the time spent apart, they grew immensely as a band. They came back to San Diego in 2009 with a new set of songs, and a new perspective. Shortly after they added bass player Daniel Oldham to the lineup, and they haven't looked back. They have been playing throughout San Diego, and are currently mixing a new EP at Big Fish Studios in Encinitas. The EP is scheduled to be completed by late February. Summer Circus is definitely a band you should keep your eye on in the San Diego music scene.
