Streetside Vinyl formed in the fall of 2009. Since then, they have performed in many places throughout California from Sacramento to Los Angeles and have taken part in many music festivals including Joshuafest, Rockin' Roots, and Gospelfest. Recently they have recorded an album entitled "If There's A Hope." Their new, edgier rock sound complements their passion for what they do and provides a fitting backdrop for their lyrical approach to life and its challenges. Streetside would like to bridge the gap between the world of "secular music" and "Christian music" by creating songs that are intriguing both musically and lyrically.
"I see our lyrics as a 'discussion' rather than a distinct 'speech.' They take on a conversational aspect, whether it's between me and God or me and the audience. Like in any conversation, there can be heated words, there can be casual talk, and there can be questions. I believe our songwriting style has left the floor open to all of the above."
