Bio
Strangers Pass
What started off as casual jam session between friends in August 2008 flourished into the group that has become Strangers Pass. Blending various musical influences, styles & melody. The music conjures stark landscapes immersed in the diversity of the vast human experience we can all relate to.
Strangers Pass crosses the lines of solid songwriting, organic textures, and melodies.
Vocals/Guitar
Rob Sadowski
Being the youngest of four siblings, Rob was exposed to music early on. In fact he was just 4 years old when he got to listen to Dark Side of The Moon in its entirety. Since then he has accumulated influences from Pop, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Electronic and a little bit of Polka to boot. When it comes to guitar playing, he often comes back to his roots: Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Brian May and Tony Iommi.
Bass
Bob Mikkelson
Bob began playing bass listening to classic metal greats such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Slayer. His family's subconscious musical influence taught him the beauty of melody. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and all the great Motown artists were a constant soundtrack growing up. Bob's style is highly aggressive yet intensely melodic thanks in part to his metal roots and players such as: Geddy Lee, Paul McCartney, Chris Squire, and John Paul Jones.
Drums
Frank Gattuso
Frank is a second-generation drummer raised on the roots of rock & roll.
Frank’s love for the “pocket” led him to legendary heavy hitters John Bonham and Bill Ward, as well as legendary James Brown groove masters, Clyde Stubblefield and Jabo Starks, combining the 2 styles, he lays a solid foundation for the band’s back drop.
