Hi Donna
As you might imagine, I am bombarded with emails tipping me off to some new release or another BUT any that manages to mention Vern Gosdin, Red Lane and Wynn Stewart in one email gets my attention.
So, I have checked out Steve's mySpace and, at last, when someone claims to be country, they actually are!......and then some.
I hope you can send an album for review to

Bio
Steve Oliver
Who is Steve Oliver? Steve is the best kept country secret in Nashville. With a smooth, deep, rich, sound; he's a phenomenal singer, songwriter, and multi-talented musician. Perhaps the best way to describe Steve is with the title to one of his own songs, "Stone To The Bone Country".
Steve lives in Nashville but has stayed true to his roots. He has his own recording studio "Thirty South Productions" where he's produced numerous new artists, as well as, producing all of his own original material.
Steve came to the attention of BMG/RCA executives and was ultimately signed as a staff writer. He is very proud of the legendary writers he's penned songs with; Red Lane, Max D. Barnes, Vern Gosdin, Harlan Sanders, Mack Vickery, Hank Cochran, Dean Dillon, Donny Kees, Dawn Sears, and many more.
Steve's song "So Far Apart" is on the "The Time Jumpers" self-titled double Grammy nominated album and is performed by Dawn Sears and Vince Gill. Steve was also awarded a gold album for his guitar picking on "The Fireman" for the "Songwriter's Tribute To George Strait" Album.
Steve has been the featured artist on the Indie World Country Charts, MCTMG, My Music TV, and The Beauty Of Music Internet Show.
Steve is finishing the final touches on a brand new album to be released soon, which will include an amazing trio performance with Vern Gosdin and Rhonda Vincent on the song "Two Below In Tupelo".
Steve's voice is a treat for your ears, so sit back relax and enjoy!
