Steve Williams grew up playing guitar in the clubs of Houston, Texas. After relocating to Austin for college, he immediately became involved in the world famous 6th Street scene and was playing 4 sets a night up and down the strip. After graduating from the University of Southwest Texas, Steve formed the legendary band Pushing Vivid and played throughout the Lone Star State. Big changes came to the music business and Steve moved to Asia to reassess. The pull of the guitar proved too much to resist and once again, Steve Williams was on stage. But this time, it was in cities such as Hong Kong, Taipei, and Bangkok. After a soul searching year, Steve made the decision to relocate back to the USA. Even though it has only been a short time back in LA, Steve already has a new band. Shows at the Whisky, Gaucho, and the House of Blues Sunset have been so well received that the band has been offered a Saturday night Headline spot at the legendary Whisky a GOGO. And now the band is branching out to other clubs under the strength of Steve's latest release, ACTION FIGURE. 2015 is also turning out to be a great year. With upcoming last quarter shows at venues like the legendary Piano Bar, Redwood, and the newly opened Hollywood Music Hall, the audience continues to grow. Steve also released the video single SOARING on youtube with much more to come including pending gear endorsements from companies such as Fractal Audio and Matrix Amplification. Truly, the FALSE VACUUM has descended over Los Angeles! As of this writing, Steve Williams has amassed 72,000 visitors to www.stevengwilliams.com, over 250 Facebook Followers, and a new growing Twitter presence.
