Bio
Stephanie Mabey is an up and coming singer/songwriter who writes well above her 25 years. Stephanie describes her music as "hope-infused reality" -- songs that connect with, entertain and uplift the listener. "Waves" sold over 3,000 copies within the first two months of it's release (October 2006) and continues to spread as Stephanie plays in coffee shops, living rooms and stages across the country. She has opened for many talented musicians including Raining Jane Dave Barnes, and Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband. Stephanie's music has been featured by Nokia, AOL and on the soundtrack for several independent films. She has been selected as one of the top musicians in the west by Billboard for the Independent Music World Series and was recently selected as a showcase artist for Musexpo 08 at the House of Blues in Hollywood, California.
"I have been a fan of Stephanie and her music for several years. There are so many aspiring artists and songwriters who place so much importance on capturing the flavor of the month in their music. In the end, what I often feel I get is a trendy collection of words, notes and beat and no soul. One of Stephanie's most appealing qualities is her authenticity and genuineness of spirit, and it shows in her music." -- Producer Rick Clark (Los Super Seven, Death Cab for Cutie)
