Bryce Larsen jumps to the head of Lyrics 101. Never have I been so impressed with lyrics. - Frank Gutch
“Arguably one of the biggest up-and-comers out of LI lately, perhaps they've concocted a fourth wave of ska. Regardless of the genre, the crowd eats it up and if you haven't seen them live yet you just aren't getting out enough”
- Long Island Press
"Singer Bryce Larsen gave Maroon 5 and Dave Matthews a run for their money with soulful, grooveful songs"Rafer Guzman (Newsday) - Newsday
“Sometimes I hear some new talent worthy of some attention. Stealing Jane is a alternative rock/pop/ska band with more than a passing resemblance to Maroon 5. It's got the latin beats, impressive vocals from Bryce Larsen and a sharp horn section that moves things along. The energy of this band is excellent and will carry it a long way.”

“These masters of "Groove Rock," or "Jazz influenced Rock," or "Fourth Wave Ska" are hard to describe, but are nonetheless incredibly talented. Their sound is made up of a fusion of influences from each member of the band (which includes a three-piece horn section!) that turns out melodies that stand tall on their own.” - None
“In a sea of pop-rock music, Stealing Jane has found a niche that is bound to rocket them to success in the music industry. Their latest EP titled “Say Something,” released by BTO Records is refreshing, addictive, and surprisingly modern.” - None
"Stealing Jane combines R&B with pop rock and reminds one of Maroon 5 mixed with a James Brown backup band. The Atlantis compilation CD includes one of their tracks, be sure to get a comp CD to hear the best recordings from Atlantis 2007 artists."

"Their sound is similar to that of their idols, including Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, and Sublime, but an obvious alternative flare usually expected from Long Island bands is also there, setting them apart from other performers and making them more far more memorable."

“Glen Cove's Stealing Jane, a band of seven, is making some good noise. They've created a fan base not only on the Gold Coast, but around the country as well, from Vermont to Virginia to the Midwest. Characterized by a hard-hitting horn section and innovative percussion, their sound is contagious, with engaging melodies and lyrics to match.” - None
“Stealing Jane is a band that is on its way to the top. They have created a sound that is unique to the music industry today, and their hard work is paying off.” - None

Bio
Most of the six members of Stealing Jane started their musical careers in the dive bars of the North Shore of Long Island. After playing marathon length cover sets for over five years, the band reinvented itself in 2007 as an original pop-rock group. Stealing Jane left the bar scene with a strong understanding of pop music, and a vigilant desire to create something really new, and accessible to listeners of all walks of life. The smooth vocals of singer Bryce Larsen, who cites influences such as Dave Grohl, Elvis Costello, Frank Sinatra, and Stevie Wonder, combined with the alternative rock sound of the rhythm section is accented by brass to create a truly unique flavor. Stealing Jane will fit right in anywhere from top 40 stations to rock or indie.
Stealing Jane is a tireless touring machine. They created an underground sensation by making available the live recordings of every show they play. They’ve also performed at The Crazy Donkey (NY), Giants Stadium (NJ), Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel (RI), Crocodile Rock (PA), The Stone Pony (NJ), The Higher Ground (VT), Petrus Night Club (KY), Webster Theater (CT) among many others.
Stealing Jane has shared the stage with many well known artists such as: Ryan Cabrera, Onerepublic, The Spin Doctors, Life House, Hanson, Tower of Power, Ninedays, Antigone Rising, Pepper, Tantric, As Tall As Lions, Toots & the Maytals, Catch 22, Big D and The Kids Table, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Steel Train, State Radio, Zox, RX Bandits, The Wailers, and Eve 6 just to name a few. They pride themselves on their dedicated and loyal street team that boasts members from across the United States and beyond.
Stealing Jane has already received acclaim from high profile New York publications such as Good Times (who awarded them first place in the Long Island Music Festival) and the Inside Connection. The band has also received extensive radio play in over fifteen states and were also featured with an on air interview with XM radio’s Opie and Anthony during which their single "Heartbreaker" was played and reviewed. The song received much positive response from the often harshly critical audience of the show.
