State of Sleep combines soaring pop melodies with aggressive guitar riffs to create a sound that brings audiences to their feet and leaves them begging for more. The six-piece band from Bristol, TN takes pride in their live performances, which blend electrosynth soundscapes, excerpts from historical speeches, and intricately timed rhythmic breakdowns together to take the crowd on a mesmerizing sonic journey. January 2016 marked the start of production for the band’s forthcoming album, Awaken, produced by award-winning engineer Brent Hendrich. State of Sleep strives to make an impact both on and off the stage by partnering with non-profit organizations that help empower the band’s listeners to overcome physical, mental, or emotional struggles.
