Based out of Johnson City Tennessee, SCM is now the top prospect to prove that a rock band can thrive, sustain, and skyrocket in today's musical ocean. Star City Meltdown's first EP release "A New History" redefined genre-bending rock.

Shortly after the release of "A New History", the band entered the studio with former Creed bassist, and legendary producer Brett Hestla (Framing Hanley, Dark New Day, Tantric) to record their debut album. The end result was an emotionally powerful and incredibly dynamic album that has been creating an enormous buzz throughout the nation. During the recording, drummer Eric Lovell, sustained a devastating injury from a broken drum stick the shattered while he was tracking his drums. The broken drum stick severely tore his cornea leaving his left eye blind. After several intense surgeries and medical procedures, Eric's vision in his left eye still hasn't returned. The album was titled "Stick In The Eye" in honor of the dedication and perseverance that Eric showed by refusing to seek medical care until he had finished recording his drum tracks.

Star City Meltdown is currently touring the country to support their debut album. "Stick In The Eye". A live performance from Star City Meltdown is a fierce, intense, and life changing experience. A complete spectacle of show and music that brings you inside the heart of Star City. Each member delivers a highly energetic, and emotional performance that has never been brought to such an extreme. As a unit, these four have the most powerful live punch that is unsurpassed and untouchable. As Star City Meltdown takes the stage, the arena morphs into a machine that connects the band to the audience as one. Each member of an audience is walking right into Star City where anything is possible and where a life altering journey is certain. So many have become a part of our unit and our cause . We have come so far due to the work of so many. From the friends we have made, our families, and our fans, Star City is growing.
