Stacey Zegers

Stacey Zegers has been singing since she was a child but around the time she was 19 something changed, she started teaching yoga and continued to sing but her will to make her music heard grew. She started getting together with local musicians and finally started her own band. She found that she was different person on the stage, her true self. A typical show is non stop high energy where at one moment she can be jumping off the stage with some crazy leads and intense drums behind her and another have the audience in a trance with a emotional and simple ballad. She has grown up listening to everything from Stevie Nicks to Jewel to Metallica and her music encompasses everything she has heard and learned. Most importantly she loves to tell a story in her music and send a message. She sets herself apart by playing multiple instuments on stage and getting into the middle of the dance floor to do her performance! In 2009 she was chosen by CMT Canada as a top 5 contender on their hit show "Casting Call", letter on that year she became a top 10 finalist in Karaoke Star, out of about 2000 people who auditioned. She will travel anywhere in the world to play and is currently booking for to her tour of Holland, America, across Canada, UK and Germany.
