Splashing Violet is a female fronted rock band from the Philadelphia area that embodies the power of change and variety. The band's love and appreciation for many different musical styles is very evident in their collective rock sound.
The group was founded by songwriter and vocalist Lisa Cavallaro, better known by her stage name Violet. The lineup also includes Kristian Tapia (Lead Guitar), Rich Spoltore (Bass Guitar) and Anthony Liberto (Drums)
Splashing Violet's influences range all over the pop rock spectrum from The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Zappa The Monkees to Metallica, The Mars Volta, Sublime, No Doubt, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Rush. The band simply enjoys music and is very passionate about writing and performing their own music and creating their own unique sound.
