Spinning Straw is an acoustic duo with deep roots in Philadelphia and Bucks County. Steeped
in bluegrass, blues, and traditional folk music, fingerstyle poet
Robert Avery and guitarist, mandolinist, and vocalist Mike Brill inspire
with original songs and put a fine, fun spin on old favorites. Their
unique combination of fast picking and honest singing
makes for a special kind of Americana.
