Speed Autobahn

Speed was born in Brooklyn, New York and remained until age 5. Thereafter Speed moved to Queens (Far Rockaway), NY, where he grew up and raised the majority of his life. Since his early youth, Speed developed a passion for writing poetry and rhymes which continued to grow and manifest from elementary school to high school.

In 2008, under the artist name Fardaru, Speed released his first mix tape "The Six Boro". Using aspects from his life growing up in Far Rockaway queens, and his struggles of living in New York city as the muse for this project. The project was approved and respected by many locally, creating the blue print for Speed musical career.

After Speed's mix tape debut, he continued to develop his musical sound and experiment with fusing different musical genres. it was at this point that Speed change his name from Fardaru to "SPEED AUTOBAHN" to reflect his fast pace/ high energy musical style. This experimental and musical progression is recognized through Speed 2011 mix tape Innovative music. Through hit singles "Ma Lingo" and "I'm a Star", Speed introduced his new innovative hip hop/pop/electronic dance fusion musical style. Receiving positive reviews and reception from listeners locally in N.Y.C and nationally, Speed showed his true emergence as a promising upcoming artist.

With his trademark delivery, unique blend of music genres and his hard hitting lyrics, SPEED is one of music's most versatile, musical artists.
