"In just a year together, St. Pete’s funky, bluesy Southside Serenade (not to be confused with emo act Secondhand Serenade or Riverview’s Southside) has racked up impressive gigs opening for Edwin McCain, Marc Broussard and Sister Hazel. Singer Addison Arfaras, guitarist Ian Longen, bassist Tim LeFebvre and drummer Tony Martin recently began working on a full-length album of fun-loving acoustic pop that might make them Tampa’s next great breakout band." - TBT - Tampa Bay Times

This new and upcoming all American, All original, Acoustic southern rock band is paving the road to a brand new innovative style in music.
Based out of Tampa Bay, FL. Their contagious, melodic song writing style has attracted major audiences of all ages and genders alike. The band's screaming guitar leads, heartfelt ballads, and dramatic twists and turns that are infused in every song make this band one of the most original and creative sounding, radio friendly bands out today.
In their fist 8 months as a band, They have been recognized on local and national Television, Radio, and Satellite Radio stations, Recorded a 7 Song EP, and have shared the stage with some prestigious artists including Platinum Selling artist Edwin McCain, Atlantic Records' Marc Broussard, Classic Rocker Pat Travers, and Florida's own Sister Hazel. Since the release of there first EP, The band let out a 2nd full length album 6 months later with over $10,000 dollars in expenses paid in full from their hard work performing.
The band's family style friendship and pavement pounding ambition is what sets them apart from the rest. Twenty two year old lead singer/songwriter, Addison Arfaras formed the band shortly after his enlisted duty in the United States Marine Corps. Playing guitar since the age of two, And with plenty of time on his hands to sculpt his unique style of singing and song writing. He then partnered up with longtime friend and high school buddy, Tim Lefebvre. They created the name Southside Serenade, being the music they had created has a southern rock twist, yet was still kind and humble to the ears. Two months later, they met up with Ian Longen and Tony Martin, whom had been a guitarist and drummer they met from a different band at the time. The four then merged as a band, infatuated by each others different knowledge of styles. They hit the ground running with nothing but the love of music on their minds.
The bands drive and ambition is truly one of a kind. After only four months of being in the group, their guitarist, Ian Longen was accepted to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) , In which he graciously turned down to further pursue the love of the band's unique sound. Southside Serenade is more than a band, they're a family. Their love for music, fans, and family pours out of them at their live shows as well as in their songwriting. After listening to their unique, innovative sound they will leave you with positive messages of hope, love and life experiences.
