Southern Grounds live performance is critically acclaimed and immensely popular, a Southern Ground show is a truly unique experience an open invitation into the passion and soul behind the musicians, but also simply a testament to having a good time. Both fans and execs alike will say that The Southern Ground Band stands confident in delivering both. The bans has graced the stage with the likes of Randy Houser, Big and Rich, Trent Tomlinson and Chris Young. Southern Grounds style is a mix of Southern Rock, Blues, Classic ROck and some rocking country. Performances are Family friendly and are sure to attract fans of all ages.
While their impressive roster of accomplishments would suggest that Southern Ground, seasoned and frail, is reaching the bottom of their slope, the truth is quite opposite. This band has the world ahead of them working efficiently and successfully to catch up to it; though the band is certain to document their experiences, life lessons, and discouragements through their infectiously tasteful music all along the way. While Southern Grounds creative horizons are expanding, the core of their appeal remains the same - Talented musicians with a passion for performing.
Southern Ground band consists of an incredible mix of talent. Over the last few years they have rejuvenated the lineup to include Frank Light singing lead vocals and playing acoustic guitar. Dusty Knapp on keys, hailing from Buffalo New York. Shaun Baker who graduated from Berkley School of music in L.A and hails from Quincy Illinois. Ron Miller on Guitar and Brian Pepo on Bass both hailing from York Pennsylvania. Lastly, Nikki Miller-Licht on Background vocals, hailing from Ohio rounding out the bands lineup
