Conclusion: children of e.l.b. is a very strong album...
(review written in dutch) - www.rock-metal-punk.be
Some of the finest and most exciting tunes I've heard in along time, and I truly hope that soup will sell enough records to save the world.
10/10 - Musikknyheter.no
The result is a monolithic album that doesn't give a damn about musical trends and genre rules, and which with its sky high ambitions dares to go its own ways. That's why it's even more impressive that soup manages to come down on both feet with a double album that is both thorough and classy.

Bio
soup saw the light of day in 2005 as Erlend Vikens one-man project. The debut album Come on Pioneers, released on Oslo-based How is Annie Records, recieved excellent reviews. So did the monumental second album children of e.l.b. with some media claiming it to be the best norwegian album this side of the millennium.
In 2009 soup expanded to a four piece band, and now having toured Norway up and down for nearly two years. they are ready to conquer the world with their music. A music which floats between indierock, postrock, electronica and postpop, with referances to bands like The Postal Service, GY!BE, Pink Floyd, Mogwai and Motorpsycho.
