Something Shiny has many times been called "a modern-day Smothers Brothers." With their playful banter, humorous quips and quality musicianship, they put on a show that has entertained audiences all over Virginia for a decade.
It's a different kind of "acoustic duo" experience. Many times, "absurd" requests are scoffed by performing artists thinking that the song is "outside" the acoustic element. They intend to prove that any song can be done in an "unplugged" fashion. But most of all, they are interested in everyone having fun and enjoying something a little different- Something Shiny.
