Soir de Semaine is a french music band based in Whitehorse, Yukon since 2003. All songs are original compositions, lyrics and music. The music is lively, rousing and dynamic. The music style is a mixture of folk, funk, rock, reggae and «roots». Lyrics talks about society, relationships and culture. It concerns people of all ages and all cultures. A strong rhythmic force unifies the songs and gives Soir de Semaine the distinctive sound that has audiences dancing ecstatically in the Yukon and beyond. For Soir de Semaine, interaction with the audience is important. Members of the band give it all to get you entertained. A trade of energy happens between the crowd and the band.
