It’s completely flooring to hear such a talent that is yet to be discovered. ELLE’s “So In Love” Is Our New Favorite R&B Track

We blog a lot about hip hop around here, but we really want you to know that we’re big saps for a nice R&B track. Give us some Donell Jones or some Groove Theory on a nice Tuesday morning, and we may just quit our day jobs. Now maybe you can imagine our glee, yes glee, when we came across the music of Los Angeles’ own ELLE in our inbox. The singer-songwriter’s track “So In Love” really hit us hard, and made us sit down to listen to her EP Inhibitions. We think we found a gem here, and figured we should share her with you. But we just want to say that when she blows up, and we’re banking that she will, that you guys don’t forget who put you on notice. - Staff

Singer/ songwriter from Los Angeles released her debut EP Inhibitions this Tuesday.

Elle, who was born Lauren Wilkins, intends to carve her place in the music industry by using life experiences as inspiration for her honest and heartfelt lyrics.

In September of 2010, Elle released her first mixtape Celebrity Dreams: Vol. 1 which included seven covers of industry artists such as Drake, Robin Thicke, Paramore, N.E.R.D. and many more.

Production credits for Inhibitions include Corey G. and Radio G., and all songs were written entirely by Elle. The official single for the album is "So In Love" and can be downloaded here.

Below, is the track "All Night" featuring rapper eLay. I like the chill vibe of the track, and her melodic vocals are hypnotizing.
