Emerging from Vancouver’s bummed out music scene, Slow Learners blend together fuzzed out guitars, driving rhythm and pop melodies to create a sound that is reminiscent of everything from biting punk sensibilities, spaced out guitar riffs, to the glory days for rock radio. Comprised of members of Ladyhawk, Vancouver’s hard hitting Congress, and Edmonton’s stripped down rockers Twin Fangs, Slow Learners sincere approach to a familiar sound have made them a favorite of fans and critics at home and aboard.
