After a seven year layoff, Sleepy Bill, former leader of the early 2000s Brooklyn post-punk band, BUST, emerges from his slumber to release his debut solo album, Really Something, on June 4th, 2013. Now based in Atlanta, Sleepy has honed his skill for melody and instrumentation, and provides the listener with a more layered, softened sound, yet still delivers his unique, mysterious lyrical content with a new, playful vitality.
His style and sound has been compared to Stephen Malkmus, Sparklehorse, Super Furry Animals, and Neutral Milk Hotel.
