SJ Stacks, a local Ottawa native, is an up-and-coming hip hop musician that is a force to be reckoned with. His engaging lyrics, rhymes and crowd-pleasing beats have SJ Stacks giving a fresh new sound as he embraces the pop and hip hop culture. SJ Stacks has been making music for the past 12 years. SJ Stacks began performing his own songs in front of family, friends, and at high school/ fundraising functions by age 13. SJ Stacks continued to work on his music while completing a BA Honours degree at Carleton University. After having done so, he decided to shift his main focus back onto his true passion and dream of becoming a major hip hop artist.

Since the new release of his first EP, The Take Off, SJ Stacks has quickly established a loyal fan base on all of his social media channels, which is increasing globally day by day. He is known for putting on shows filled with energy and excitement. SJ Stackss first single "This is How it Goes," was featured on radio stations across Canada such as The New Hot 89.9 FM, 105.3 KISS FM, 104.7 Streetz FM, Z101 FM, to name a few. You may have already seen him in Capital Style Magazine, and on Rogers Television show Clarence Street Live Shortly after such an abundance of positive vibes and support from his fans worldwide, SJ Stacks is getting ready to release a second album entitled So Fresh.

Recently, SJ Stacks began networking across the border in the United States of America. His determination and drive got him a performance at a popular night club, Webster Hall in Manhattan, New York. He performed in front of platinum producers such as Illmind, Rockwilder and Jimmy Hendrix. SJ Stacks has had performances with the hip hop group Bone Thugs N Harmony, B-Real from Cypress Hill and Canadian hip hop artist Choclair, just to name a few. He is currently on his first tour All Night Sippin.

In only one year, SJ Stacks has launched his hip hop career independently and under his own music label, Three Seven Records. Now, during year two of his trek to hip hop stardom, SJ Stacks has found himself collaborating with Canadian hip hop Juno award winning artist, Choclair. Just last month, the two have released their hit record All Night Sippin, which has already been picked up and played on radio stations. SJ Stacks and Choclair have filmed the music video for their hit song All Night Sippin, and it has received positive feedback from fans all over the world. The demand to see and hear SJ Stacks is growing at a fast pace.
