Breaking the threshold on the Canadian music industry, SIXXXER attacks the stage with an electrifying, gritty sound. Blending together their influences, Robbie Turner (Socialight), Joe Manchisi (Dead Celebrity), Dave B (Neverending White Lights) and Nick Dude (American Standard) are a musical assault on all of your senses.
Now … let’s get you more acquainted with the members of Sixxxer:
Robbie T – As the frontman, songwriter and co-founder of the renowned rock/punk band Socialight, Robbie has had the honor of sharing the stage with some of the biggest bands in the business. Throughout the bands eight-year history, he has toured and opened for such heavyweights as Good Charlotte, Sum41, Social Code and Bayside to name just a few. Socialight’s guitar-driven single Broken saw much success, getting video play and radio play across the country. Songs from their last release, Change Is Everything even garnered television spots on MTV.
Dave Braumburger – Bass/Vocals – Dave is a super talented musician who has logged hundreds of shows and has toured and/or shared the stage with some of North America’s elite artists including AFI, Buck Cherry, Our Lady Peace, Hedley, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many more. In addition to his dedication to Sixxxer, he is also the current bass player for Neverending White Lights and is the former bassist for Skye Sweetnam. Dave has also made countless national television appearances including Canada AM and MTV Live. His stage presence and unmatched skill make him one of the best bass players in the country. Gibson obviously agrees as Dave has been enjoying a full sponsorship with Gibson guitars over the last 2 years.
Joe Manchisi – Lead Guitar/Vocals - This tattooed covered freak can sing, wail on the guitar and rock a crowd with the best of them. He has over 13 years of stage experience as the frontman of Milton’s legendary rock band Dead Celebrity. He has been in front of major crowds in support of Story Of The Year, The Ataris, Hollywood Undead and others. Giuseppe brings an image and intensity to the band that simply can’t be described until you see it live.
Nick Dude – Drums – Nick is a mutli-skilled guy who has played various rolls in his musical career including producer, guitarist, bassist and of course drummer. As drummer for American Standard and bassist for Underbrush, Nick has toured and opened for various artists including Finger 11, American Hi-Fi and Clark Nova. Once the drum-tech for Mammoth Records he provided support for bands like Matthew Good, Big Wreck, Lenny Kravitz, and Pink to name a few. Look for Nick’s energetic drumming style to steal the show when you see Sixxxer play live.
