WHO IS $I-NOTE$.....
Sierra “Si-Notes” Carter is a young female wordsmith who lives outside of the box. First born to ‘Khandi’ and Joey in 1985, who would have thought that she would grow up to be so slick with words ? Born in Boston and raised in Baltimore, she gives you a real glimpse into her life and into the ‘hood’. Being compared not only to the best of female rappers, but even to some of the most envied male lyricists, she continues to do her thing with this rap game and, as she would say, just be herself. Pulling admiration from artists such as Rakim, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Remy Ma, Nas, and The L.O.X. just to name a few, she does not try to swagger jack but moreso embody what all of these great pioneers have started and stand for in hip-hop. If you ask her where she gets her inspiration from, she will tell you that she is just truly hip-hop and is inspired by the culture as a whole. Giving you a slight glimpse of that sex appeal that you crave from attractive female entertainers, she also brings that rawness that you crave from true lyricists ! From doing shows in the DMV (D.C./MD/VA) area and the east coast, also appearing on the DMV area local radio stations, to pushing mixtapes in a hood near you, her grind is impeccable !
