"Natural Born Rockers"

See attached URL for review of SG's latest album 'Natural' - Spot On LI Magazine

"You be the judge. No, wait, I will"

Excellent metal-rock outfit had great hooks, nice chops(especially the drummer) and an appealing front man in Ryan Parise. Coolest member: long-haired bassist Charlie Shada, who looks just like a chick. - Newsday

"Music Festival Finals: It's all about the original music"

Silent Generosity fans arrived in full force to lend their local heroes support. This is a young band with unlimited potential who mix addictive riffs with a pounding rhythm section that makes them one of the more popular live original acts on the Island.

"Break Me Down" was the first choice in a tight set that mixed he better known portion of the band's catalog with some brand-new material. - Good Times Magazine

"One More Show for the Semi's"

The third band on was Silent Generosity, a band I've seen throughout the tour. I've stated this in both reviews and I still believe it: The best thing about them is their drummer. His energy inspires the rest of the band, which helps them move on. At times I thought the sound was a little too generic, but from a rep's point of view that's what the public wants to hear. - The Inside Connection

"Touring 495 Finals"

First to take the stage was Silent Generosity, four top-notch young musicians from Farmingville. These guys could be your best friends from high school, so unassuming in their demeanor. But get drummer Jason Buswell seated, bass and guitar players Charlie Shada and Dennis March strapped in, and Ryan Parise behind the microphone with guitar and hold on tight. It was not long before the audience had to loosen their grip, get up out of their seats and dance in the aisles. These guys work and play together producing great alternative rock. If this short set was any indication of their style, a booking agent or promoter would do well including Silent Generosity on their roster. - Long Island Entertainment News

"L.I. Sounds"

By 12:30 the pub was packed. Silent Generosity commanded the audience's attention. Vocalist/guitarist Ryan Parise had excellent rapport with the audience, telling them stories behind the songs and giving the bar an intimate feel. A darker song, "Shadow or the Sun", about people who don't think for themselves, was certainly a highlight. This journey through different tempos and dynamics, which included a dantastic, fast-paced guitar solo and strong bass and drums asked, "Are you the shadow or the sun?" - Good Times Magazine

"No Cover At Munchaba"

The night took a hard rock swerve the moment that Silent Generosity rode a four-count into a set of tunes rooter in the soil of power-pop. SG's loyal fan following was anything but silent, giving the band huge props for standards such as "Break Me Down" and "Who I Am." The boys also used the set to introduce two new songs "Chameleon" and "On My Way", and both numbers got a huge thumbs up from the Munchaba crowd. - Good Times Magazine

"The Best of Long Island Music"

In a recent Good Times' Long Island Spotlight feature, Ryan Parise spoke about the passion Silent Generosity invests into song writing and performing. That intensity is no more apparent than on "Break Me Down." This kind of edge and sincerity in the heavy rock genre is rare - something unheard since the early days of Metallica. - Good Times Magazine

"From the WRCN Island ROck Idol Finals"

“No bullshit! Good, honest, well crafted songs, good musicianship, and no posing!” - Jim Faith from James Faith Entertainment

"Near Perfect!"

That was as near a perfect set as I have heard in awhile! Your fans are anything BUT silent! - Jerry Lembo - Jerry Lembo Entertainment

"Well Done!"

"They do what they do very very well" - Tom Crawford - Paradiddle Records

"Great Energy!"

“I appreciated their energy and the connection they had to the audience” “You can tell they love what they do and work hard doing it all, while making it fun for all” - Fingers - WBAB 102.3 FM

"Natural Born Rockers"

Their new single, Album Title cut “Natural” is being played on WRCN, and starts off with a super sexy guitar solo with sultry lyrics that would make my grandmother blush. “Natural” is raw with a deep groove and memorable chorus. On “She Said” this beautiful anthem style rock tune briefly switches pace at the bridge to an acoustic lyrically driven intensity that resolves itself perfectly. “She Said” is radio quality and works because this band works so well together and the lead singer sings his heart out.

Silent Generosity’s “Natural” CD has glimpses of Metallica and Daughtry which makes the music feel fan friendly and familiar but with their own unique performance and writing style. In “Second Chances”, the guitar solo sings and you walk away feeling good. It’s upbeat and relatable. It’s also another great radio cut. In “Hit & Run” the stars of this song are the bass player and the drummer who make me want to blast this song in my car with their killer take no prisoners groove. - Spot On LI Magazine - Christine Gerani
