SIDESHOW ALY from Darwin IS ONE ROOTSY MAMA .Her zesty panache captivates with poignant libretto and an earthy roots-rock agenda. Not un-like the extremities of far northern oz weather, her mood is changeable from enchanting solo artist to rocking four piece band with SOME OF DARWINS BEST MUSICIANS ON BASS, DRUMS and Violin. Shes often accompanied by Alice Springs celebrity, J9, with ethereal sounds resonating from her singing SAW that simultaneously transports you outer space and 100 metres below sea level. Either Solo or collaborating with some of the NT's primo musicians, Sideshow Aly carves up original tunes, which weave tales OF TRAVEL, LOVE AND INTRIGUE from the tropical north to the red centre.
