Sicarus

Sicarus (pronounced (sih'-karr-us) officially formed April of '07, with members Kenny, Jon, Alex, Dustin and Jay. Starting out quickly, their style emerged as an aggressive mix of thrash metal and hardcore. Bassist Jay found the band wasn't where his heart was, and was replaced by former Grandview singer/guitarist Casey. The band started work on their 4 song demo "Bleed Seraphim" and played a few shows under vocalist Alex, but after relations turned sour the band started recruiting new vocalists. After weeks of waiting and endless auditions the band met Eric, who's vocal style and talent was the perfect complement to the band. Sicarus rushed back in to the studio to re track vocals to complete their sound. Now with a solid line up Sicarus is ready to hit the stage at the local venue, promising to bring aggression and force with their music in hopes to help revive the local metal scene. Sicarus is currently working on new material, and plans to go back in to the studio to record 4 brand new tracks. Keep an eye on the page for updates regarding show times and performances.
