Los Angeles based singer/ songwriter Shayna Ross is bringing back a blend of Rock and Country not seen since the 1970's. Hugely influenced by artist's like the Rolling Stones, Leon Russel, and Linda Ronstadt, Shayna mixes explosive hooks, with captivating story telling.
Prior to working on her solo career, Shayna was a celebrated rock singer. In 2005 she won a spot on the Vans Warped Tour with her Punk trio Dirty Pink. Since then, she has collaborated with producer Noah Shain and guitarist Kevin Roentgen of Orson. Their band Hott Mess released a Pop/Rock EP entitled Love Is Cheap in the spring of 2009.
Shayna is about to release her new EP entitled Out West produced by Larry Marciano. Due out at the beginning of December 2012, Out West promises to showcase Shayna not only as a singer, but as an artist who delivers as a songwriter.
