Sharp Dressed Band is a nationally touring tribute act. We portray the members of ZZ Top, and perform the music of that lil ol' band from Texas to perfection. We use custom guitars and basses like the original artists, and by use of theatrical costumes and makeup, we will provide a visual experience like no other
ABOUT THE BAND:
The band consists of three members with each member contributing over 40 years of experience to live music performances. We strive to make your experience very memorable, by providing a visual and audio experience like no other tribute act.
Same 3 guys, Same 3 Chords The Band Members Are:Bobby Dee-Bass Guitar/Vocals/FounderBobby is a BMI registered artist, and a member of The American Federation of Musicians, Local 802 and has performed with many of the top New York and Long Island Bands since 1976 and has a significant background in audio engineering and music production. He uses 50's style Fender Precision basses, Gallien Krueger Amplification,Avatar Speaker cabinets, Eminence speakers, MXR and Electro-Harmonix effects pedals, Intex Cables, and is Endorsed By GraphTech Guitar Labs.T.J. Davidson-Guitar/VocalsT.J. has been on the live music circuit since 1976, and has performed with many top New York and Long Island acts in countless venues across the Tri-State area. T.J. has also done studio work, and sub work as a guitarist. T.J. prefers Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars, and has a significant collection of Marshall and Fender amplifiers.
