From the unique ubiquity of Joshua Robinson:
In the growing age of split releases, the cassette aesthetic reigns supreme. One can honestly drown in the expanse of the plastic and paper case medium. Sharing and KoKo are able to effectively deliver on the promise of cassette culture; the former bathed in two-piece orchestration, the soundtrack for Pavement meets garage post-punk coitus; the latter delivering on the nostalgia of The Velvet Underground of 1970. But both Sharing and KoKo exist above these comparisons, rendering a sound that is as much of the here and now as it is a call to what makes lo-fi recordings and releases unique: musicians playing for the sake of playing, absent of airs and chock-full of DIY sentiment. Unique ubiquity, oxymoronically.

Sharing makes you feel like you're in a car and you're also driving it. You come upon a railroad crossing and it looks like nothin's goin on so you're like "sure, I'll cross!" but right as you're over the tracks, both gates swing down and it starts goin ding ding like they do. You look up (cause you have a sweet convertible) and? a train is falling from the sky looking to land right where you're at, (it was dropped by the train plane). Just then another train plane pulls up and catches it a foot from your face!
Sharing is a high energy punk band that plays for crust punks and indie hipsters alike.
