Los Angeles-based artist Sharif is not afraid to reflect upon personal issues of love and love lost. His music, which combines sweeping melodies with heartfelt lyrics, captures the soul of the listener and lays out an emotional fortitude to which anyone can relate.
Writing with legendary songsmith Desmond Child has facilitated Sharif's ability to truly craft a hit single. Sharif's song "Another Wasted Rose" received an Honorable Mention in the 2008 Billboard World Song Contest, and many of the 14 tracks from his latest record "Kisses and Lies" have already joined his growing list of 300+ film and TV credits. Sharif's current single "Dark Side of the Dawn" features Rhett Miller on backing vocals, and has risen to #89 on the FMQB charts. All Access Magazine raves about Sharif's album, describing how, "A silky voice, cheerful melodies, creative musicianship and steadfast songwriting make "Kisses and Lies" a well-rounded, enduring record from beginning to end." Sharif was also handpicked out of hundreds to perform at the 2009 ASCAP EXPO and showcase his songs. These songs can be found on compilation discs alongside bands like O.A.R., Jack Johnson, and the Dave Matthews Band. Most recently, Sharif has been chosen as one of Music Connection Magazine's "Top Unsigned Artists."
Having shared the stage with such popular acts as Kenny Loggins, Rhett Miller, Rusted Root, and Blake Shelton, Sharif has sculpted a broad understanding and appreciation of life as a musician on the road. With over 1,500 U.S. and International shows under his belt, Sharif is an expert at captivating audiences of all sizes. Whether performing at a festival of thousands or an intimate acoustic gathering, Sharif is calm, witty and focused onstage.

His haunting performance of Rihanna's "Disturbia" bellows with raw emotion, enjoyed by some 200,000 viewers on YouTube.
Many reputable businesses and artists have also taken note of Sharif's immense talent and commercial appeal.
