True to the sounds and arrangements of 60’s & 70’s soul/funk bands such as, the JB’s, the Meters or Stax’s staff artists( Otis Redding, Rufus Thomas, Johnnie Taylor...) ,these 7 musicians, who play their own compositions, offer an explosive show to their audience. Their dynamic live act reminds of the overexciting atmosphere of legendary american vintage clubs.
After setting fire to their audience on many stages, they keep on keeping on and it’s impossible to remain indifferent to their appeal. To defend the temple of Soul, their weapons are as follow: vintage outfits, lamp amplifiers, a Hammond organ, tight horns, an unbeatable rhythm section and a roaring lion.
Between Deep Soul and Raw Funk, their second album, ‘Chapter 2: Getting’ The Spirit’, allow them to step into the European Soul/Funk scene, most notably by collaborating with artists such as Eddie Roberts ( New Mastersounds) or Dionne Charles ( Baby Charles). Album available February 2009
