This Nigerian-born, US-based gospel rapper shows conviction not only in his words, but also in self-releasing this album. He is a creditable enough rapper and whilst the production is not awash with big studio sounds, it can work well with Timbaland-type minimalist backed tracks like “Mo 2 Lyf” and “What U Need.” Sometimes the production and musical backing can be perfunctory. However, he usually grabs attention lyrically because of undeniable passion to spread the Gospel. The funk-based “B.I.B.L.E.” and “Change” are good examples. There are some charming female-sung choruses too. Also, SesTor doesn’t shy from announcing his Nigerian roots. For example, the lyrically uplifting “Pages” evokes Fela Kuti’s Afrobeat groove and female chorus. He surprises by flipping the musical backing on “Gravy,” which is driven by a rock guitar lick. Worth discovering.

This Nigerian Born, Christian Hip Hop Artist/Producer/Praise Worship Leader delivers a unique sound consisting of Electronic and live instruments. He successfully does this without straying too far away from the core Hip Hop sound.
His creativity not just with music but words as well has led him to coin a phrase, Junglistic Hip Hop which is best defined on the opening track to his sophomore Album, Tha Chronicles Of Junglistic Hip Hop. In the Intro he says, Its rough and rugged, but its still the gospel of peace.
This is the motto of his life; to seek the Kingdom of God first, and proclaim the Sovereignty of God, using music as one of his tools.
SesTor is definitely not just another MC/ Rapper, but a Christian Hip Hop musician in a class of his own.
SesTor is joyfully married to the love of his life, India and they are blessed with four beautiful children.
He and his family attend Abundant Life International Church Cleveland, Ohio, where he serves as The Music Pastor.
SesTor has toured and opened up for Grits, Hearts Of Saints, and Jade Harrell on 'The Art Attack Tour 09' and has performed at such places as CFA National Talent Search '09 Nashville, SpiritSong '09 OH, Alive Festival 08, Lakewood Church, Houston, TX, The Holy Hip Hop Awards, Atlanta, GA, Flavor Fest, Tampa, FL, The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, Cleveland, Ohio, and many more.
