Sean Harrison is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from the Isle of Lewis situated off the Northwest coast of Scotland whos been writing and playing his own brand of self proclaimed Acoustic/Progressive music since 2007. Gathering inspiration from Pink Floyd, Ryan Adams, Coldplay, The Verve, Crowded House and John Martyn - Sean recorded his debut long player A Silent Ovation in the later half of 2008 - which was primarily a lo-fi solo project with a few friends adding some drums, bass, cello, keyboards and lead guitar along the way . The writing depicts various experiences in Seans life over the last few years, family and aspirations.
After the recording was finished Sean assembled together his varied selection of talented friends - musicians from the Isles of Lewis and Harris - into a proper band and they hit the local circuit playing regularly around the Western Isles as the Sean Harrison Band.
In early 2009, the band started working on a new project; a double disk album entitled A Spectrum of Colours with one disk featuring the full band and the second a stripped-down acoustic sound.
