SAVE THE HERO is a hard rock act from Omaha, NE. The band was originally formed as Cold Steel in 2005. The members now include: Alex DiBaise-Lead Vocals/Rhythm guitar, Matt DiBaise-Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals, Gage McClain-Drums, Garret Loring-Bass/Backing Vocals. After the almost 8 years of performing together the band has evolved and the members felt it was time for a change. The previous name misrepresented what their music has grown into.
Under the previous title the band released 5 CDs: “And It Begins”, “Cold Steel”, “See You Again”, “First Five”, “The Odds are Against Us”. With over 300+ live shows Cold Steel shared the stage with national acts such as: Heart, JackyL, Skid Row, Slaughter, Evans Blue, Black Stone Cherry, Cavo, Bobaflex, the Nigel Dupree Band, and more.
Moving forward with their new endeavor SAVE THE HERO is finishing up on a new album to be released in 2013 through Tate Music Group. Until then they will continue to play shows across the Midwest to play music to the masses. Thank you for continuing to support!
