Bio
The band's beginnings came out of Banner Elk, NC, where Scott, Peter, and Ryan went to college and played in the band Telegrams for Mary together. After moving to Orlando, Fl the three met Tim and Paul. After finding our our line up we decided to call ourselves Save Huck and began writing in November of 2008.
The Name: Save Huck,
The name Save Huck derives from Huckleberry Finn's struggle to decide whether to base his moral choices on what society told him or what he felt was right. To ask the question, what would it mean for you to save Huck, demands that you consider what morality is and more importantly that you strive to find morality yourself.
Our hope is that people will see the emotion that we have for writing music and that our ideas will push people to think about both the music and the lyrics.
