Sadie Norkin

Progressive, Alternative Rock Singer-Songwriter/ Guitarist, Sadie Norkin hails from the outskirts of Seattle where the stars are big and dreams have room to soar. At the mere age of seven she began her musical journey as a violinist but was soon drawn to the allure of the guitar at age ten- allowing her to tap into that grungy-groovy sonic energy she always admired. Raised in a home surrounded by music, she found herself relishing in stories of hope and self-realization, ultimately influencing her to create music with the sole purpose of connecting people.Taking inspiration from artists like Bjork and Pantera, her songwriting career embarked at the young age of fifteen, garnering experience performing for large crowds at Bumbershoot, Seattle Seafair, and the Triple Door.

​This Fall she will be releasing her debut EP, “Creating New Life” equipping listeners with the courage to do just that- create the life they want to live while leaving the past to wither behind them. This hippie at heart and lover of nature- who appreciates a good metal riff- reminds listeners tothe likes of St. Vincent & Porcupine Tree  while possessing a sound that is all her own.
