In addition to having the hottest bangs ever (Chan Marshall, is that you?), SF-based singer, songwriter & producer and personal favorite Amanda Harper makes an extremely soothing and delicate brand of synth-pop with her über-under the radar electronic project, Running In The Fog. She has recently released this slinky, laid-back little gem called “Silver”, and is said to be working on many more exciting material that she will conceptualize into a full EP later this year. We are most certainly looking forward to that, but meanwhile you should enjoy with us the heavenly arpeggios and rad synth layers that she masters so well in “Silver”. - Newdust

Running in the Fog is the name of the solo project from San Francisco-based artist Amanda Harper, who makes dreamy electronic pop and R&B that packs a punch. Her latest track Desire saunters into life on a beat reminiscent of Solange's Losing You, but following the lead of her soft-yet-strong vocal and with the addition of some organic percussion and synth flirtation, it becomes a densely layered pop song with a life of its own. Stream it above; her Soundcloud is also worth a visit for the gorgeous Silver and a super tight cover of Ciara's Body Party. - Dummy Mag

Bio
Running In The Fog is the moniker of San Franciscos Amanda Harper. Harpers deep seeded affinity for 90s R&B sets the scene for the projects self-penned soul-infused space pop. Spending the better part of her adolescence singing and playing saxophone in jazz outfits, followed by a cross-country journey that took her to Philadelphia to study music and theater, her eclectic inspirations can be heard throughout everything she touches. On Silver, Running In The Fog's debut collection out on Father/Daughter Records, the six alluring tracks spotlight Harpers silky vocals and hypnotic production.
