Fall 2010, jazz musicians Rudy Stockhausen and Derek Engstrom met while performing their individual work. They were immediately drawn to each others music and began collaborating together as TheKnots. Within no time, they began performing throughout some of the city's most reputable music venues which include The Social, The Plaza Theater and Back Booth to name a few. The band's growing fan base and regional recognition propelled them to the forefront of the Central Florida music scene where they continued to capture the hearts and minds of fans and industry personnel alike. In 2012, the band took a brief hiatus to work on new material. Now they're back
