Bio
RubberBand is a 6 piece group who have emerged from The Manurewa High School in 2011. Dispite limited time together, RubberBand have had a formidable rise in the urban music scene. Highlights include winning the Smokefree Pacifica Beats competition in 2011, playing support for Katchafire, Black Seeds and 1814 on the Queens Wharf at the pre-rugby world cup final celebreations, a slot to perform at the Raggamuffin Music Festival, Pacifica Festival, Polyfest and recording of their debut single at York St Studios along with their music video to be released shortly. Hailing from South Auckland the bands mix of reggae/funk/rnb and gospel is already creating a big follow.
