Romeo Taylor

Romeo Taylor is a Music Producer and DJ from Canada.

Born Joshua McAllister, this artist took the Toronto music scene by storm with his blend of trance and progressive house. Ever since his beginnings in 2016, as a multi genre DJ, he mastered the art of captivating the crowd with his sound. 

He's performed at Indie Week Music Festival, Burn The Books with International Electronic Music Producer And DJ Bear Grillz and at numerous clubs and other events across the Greater Toronto Area, even earning accolades for his music from The Toronto Independent Music Awards!

His original song, “Twisted Minds”, received a nomination for “Best Electronic” from the Toronto Independent Music Awards, which was held on October 13th, 2017, where Romeo was a runner up for the nomination.

The song was received well from critics and audiences alike, even raking 24 in the Spinnin' Records Miami Demo Drop Contest.

Rome’s sound could be described as classic, yet innovative and personal. His style is diverse and wide-ranging, as his music can be defined as a combination of catchy EDM grooves and lush, textural sounds with lots of ambiance and depth.

Besides producing great original tracks such as “Twisted Minds”, Romeo also frequently works on a lot of remix sessions, putting his own spin on some of the hottest tracks of the moment.

Inspired by influential artists/producers such as Martin Garrix, Justin Blau (3LAU) and Danny Avila, Romeo set out to create music that feels appealing and engaging, using a very innovative mindset in his songwriting and production aesthetics.
